AmpKeeper Connect
The box does its whole job without this: your AmpKeeper charges your car on solar with no subscription required, whether you're home or not. AmpKeeper Connect is for the times you want to check in, or reach it, from outside the house.
What it does
- Remote access with no port forwarding or router setup. Your device makes a single outbound, encrypted connection to our servers; it never accepts inbound connections, so there's nothing to open up on your router.
- Cloud backup and restore. Your charge history is backed up to the cloud, so a replacement device can restore it if yours is ever swapped out.
- A multi-device console. If you run more than one AmpKeeper, see and manage all of them from the one console.
- History kept indefinitely. The device itself keeps 12 months of 5-minute detail, then recycles the oldest data. Connect keeps that same 5-minute-resolution history in the cloud for as long as your subscription is active, so nothing ages out.
- Alerts and notifications. Planned for a later release, not available yet.
What it costs

Connect your first device and your first three months are free, no card needed to start. Cancel any time from the console. Prices are in Australian dollars; overseas cards are accepted. Discount codes are entered at checkout.
Running the servers behind Connect has real, ongoing hosting costs. Rather than bake that into the price of every device, we charge only the people who choose to use it.

What happens if I stop paying
If a payment fails, you get a 14-day grace period to sort it out. After that, remote access and cloud backup pause. Your device keeps working locally exactly as before, and your stored history stays readable and exportable in the console.
